We stumbled on Rita’s Ice Custard Happiness in Pennsylvania. The name alone brings joy.
I’d heard about ice-custard from a “chef’s favourites” episode on the food network. The primary difference between ice custard and ice cream was the addition of egg yolk to the custard.
So I had to try it. Rita’s ice custard is good stuff, and very rich.
Summer is sweet; stop in for a treat!
