My husband and I were competing for the best pizza at Joe Squared. It’s a thing we do.
We saw Joe Squared on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, so we had to add it to our list, and when we got to Baltimore, we stopped in.
The place was clean and comfortable.
They have a well-stocked bar with a number of beers available on tap.
Competing for the Best Pizza
My husband and I like to compete to see who orders the better dish. So we played again to see who could order the Best Pizza at Joe Squared.
Joe had a Hawaiian-style pizza and, it being Baltimore, and by the water, mine was clam, bacon, Italian-style bocconcini. Oh, yummy!
They use a thin sourdough crust which was music to my mouth. The coal-fired oven adds bits of char and instead of being flat, the pizza bubbles up in spots to create a light and satisfying bite.
How’d we do competing for the Best Pizza at Joe Squared? In this instance, I think I won, and he thinks he won, as we both loved what we ordered.
