Naugles Tacos & Burgers Fountain Valley and Naugles on the Beach in Huntington Beach are here! As I said before, I’m joyful that someone bought the Naugles name and are on a mission to recreate the flavours and menu of the original Naugles in two Orange County locations.
Naugles Fountain Valley isn’t your typical burger place, although I guess it could be. Where Naugles excels is in combining the flavours of Mexican food into American fast food.
The Bun Taco and Taco Salad Cup at Naugles Fountain Valley and Huntington Beach locations are like a blast from the past for those of us who grew up with Naugles.
The Bun Taco has all the ingredients of a fast-food taco, but on a steamed hamburger bun instead of a taco shell.
The Taco Salad Cup is really just a salad with taco ingredients added (meat, cheese, tomato, sour cream), served with a side of tortilla chips.
There are other things on the menu, but you guys are going to have to tell me about them in the comments below, because I get out here so rarely that this has been all I’ve had. Please tell us what you love, below.
The Naugles Fountain Valley location is not as fun as the “on the beach” location in Huntington Beach, but definitely easier to get to and more reliably open. It’s also easy to get on and off the 405 freeway for a quick bite.
