The FirstOntario Concert Hall (formerly Hamilton Place) is a beautiful theatre with lovely sight lines. We saw a rock concert here and enjoyed it very much.
Seating at FirstOntario Concert Hall
The theatre seats many people (2,181) but feels intimate. We took a walk around the theatre before the show and the sight lines were good no matter where the seats were.
There are ramps one uses to get to the upper levels. We found that the slope was not too steep.
The theatre seats themselves were comfortable and about the right size (not too small) for average humans.
We did have to get out of our seats to allow others into the row.
There were only 3 stalls in both women’s and men’s washrooms on the 1st balcony level, so plan ahead.
Snacks and Drinks at FirstOntario Concert Hall
There are bars at each level, so if the lobby is crowded you can just go upstairs.
Snacks included popcorn, Twizzlers, Mike & Ikes and other candies.
Water was $4.50. Beer was $10 (for “domestic”), on up. A Mill Street beer was $11.
