First You Have to Find the Starbucks at Hollywood Studios
Trying to find Starbucks at Hollywood Studios? A disguised Starbucks masquerades as Starbucks Trolley Car Cafe at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It’s the last store on the right side of the main entrance street, called Theatre of the Stars Drive.
Starbucks at Hollywood Studios is disguised so they blend in more seamlessly with the Walt Disney World theming in the parks.
Here at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, it’s the feel of old Hollywood. The Starbucks Trolley Car Cafe may not be an obvious Starbucks if you’re not paying attention. The vertical neon is emblazoned with “The Trolley Car Cafe” and below this is a small circular sign with a Starbucks logo in brown (instead of the normal green).
The Menu
They have the same (or at least similar) menu as most Starbucks locations, and are willing to customize drinks in much the same way as other Starbucks.
The food at Starbucks Trolley Car Cafe differs a bit. You’ll find yogurt cups, pastries and other grab and go items available. I can’t remember what hot foods, if any, there were on the menu as it was quite hot weather when we were there. Please add this to the comments if I’m missing anything.
Get Your Ice Water Here
While your’re here, grab a cup of ice water from large frosted jugs placed on the counter. They ask you to use their cups rather than your personal cups or mugs for sanitary reasons. It’s convenient since you don’t have to stand in line to order the water. It’s also nicely filtered water and tastes better than normal Florida tap water.
Starbucks Hollywood Studios “Been There” Mug Series
This is the only location you can get the most recent “You Are Here” or “Been There” mug for Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the Starbucks mug series. I add mine to my order and arrange to have them ship it to my resort (for free) so I don’t have to carry it with me all day. During my stay I purchased one of each of the “You Are Here” collection mugs from Walt Disney World.
Starbucks sells each of the 4 park versions of the new “Been There” mugs only inside each of the respective parks at the Starbucks locations.
Payments Accepted
In addition to the usual payments, you can use your Starbucks card to pay for your purchases or use your Disney MagicBand. Starbucks at Hollywood Studios will apply Walt Disney World or Premier Annual Passholder discounts to your order when you show them your card.
Outdoor Patio
There’s a small patio in the back containing tables with umbrellas and loose chairs, so you can find the right amount of seats for your party if it’s not too busy.
