With the Kenzington Burger Bar where does one begin? The stunning service, great recommendations, live music, tantalizing menu or the drool-worthy, well-seasoned burgers? I loved them all.
Jordan knew the menu, was totally open about what they did well, and what they didn’t make in-house. I went with his recommendation of the California Burger (with bacon and avocado).
You can select your meat (chopped up steak for the hamburger, but there’s also fried chicken), and then choice of bun (my choice – the pretzel bun from Ace Bakery, thank you!).
They have craft brews on hand which went perfectly with my burger.
Andre was accommodating and incredibly nice. Best, too, was their woman bartender – whose name I’ve forgotten (sorry!). She was quick to reorder and replace drinks and did it in a busy bar with a smile and deft hand.
When I found out they make a Seabreeze like I like them, I had my first Seabreeze in a very long time.
If I had one thing to change, it would be the bright light for the kitchen and washrooms. It hurt my eyes. I wish these lights could be dimmed since the light in the place was more muted, so the difference was dramatic.
The table lights twinkled, and string lights created a party atmosphere as the band played. I loved the atmosphere.
The dance floor was full. People were dancing all night and having a great time.
Can’t wait to come back to Kenzington Burger Bar in Orillia. There are two other locations in Barrie and one in Bradford, as well.
