We were on our way to a concert and stopped in to The Works in Hamilton for a quick meal. We’d been to The Works in Pickering and had enjoyed the food there.
The Drinks
I was in a silly mood and ordered a fruity daiquiri cocktail. Unfortunately, the daiquiri tasted like chemicals. The server was kind, and offered me a replacement of the daiquiri. The replacement drink was still terrible, so it must just be the ingredients they use and how they typically make them.
Smart Joe ordered a beer, and laughed at my distress. At least the beer was good.
The Food at The Works in Hamilton
We both loved our burgers at The Works in Hamilton. A heads up for those who haven’t been to The Works, the burgers are huge. I could only eat half.
You’ll be tempted by the creative menu with all kinds of burgers and all kinds of toppings.
The fries and onion rings are also great.
The Service at The Works in Hamilton
We had great service overall, but our meal took about 40 minutes from order to actual table service. In my opinion, that’s way too long for a burger unless you’re on a leisurely date.
