We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Jeanne D’Arc in the Le Marais District in Paris.
Location of the Hotel Jeanne D’Arc
The Hotel Jeanne D’Arc is close to the St. Paul Metro Station on the Line 1, which goes by or connects to many of the major sights of Paris.
Staff
The hotel staff were friendly. They were accommodating with check-in and with holding our luggage should we need it.
The Room
Our room was large and set up as open concept.
The closet is a simple pole with hangers next to the entry door to the room. There are also square cubbies one can use for storage.
Our room was a bit odd for shower-lovers, since there’s only a hand-held wand in the tub.
The shower curtain was just big enough to cover about half of the length of the tub.
Though there is a water closet with door for the toilet, the bath had no walls separating it from the rest of the room, and was directly opposite the bed.
A room divider is provided, for those who prefer some privacy.
Breakfast and Food in the Neighbourhood
We enjoyed the continental breakfast downstairs in the breakfast room and found it to be a decent value.
There are lots of options for food in the neighbourhood (including a lovely creperie on the street nearby) and grocery store near the Metro entrance.
Here are other places to try while you’re in Paris.
Enjoyed May, 2015.
